English Tour Operators

Dear Editor,

I am a Spanish citizen and I would like to denounce the young English tourists behaviour who come to our coasts and islands to enjoy holidays.

I think the problem lies in the way they drink, without any control.

Some years ago, I heard in the news about their behaviour in Ibiza Island and how the British Consul had to leave our country ashamed by the unacceptable conduct of his citizens.
News told that some of them were run over in the streets in the early hours of the morning and fell down from the apartments balconies as well, dying immediately due to the excess of alcohol.

I have seen it myself being in a bar crowded of English people who seemed to me a little bit dangerous. People who aren't very good mannered and haven't got a good education, that's for sure. People who are only interested in football and drinking as it isn't forbidden in our country and it's not as expensive as it is in their country.

The problem for us lies due to the English Tour Operators who offer very cheap holidays in our country with everything included. In my opinion, I think first of all, we shouldn't let English agencies operate our travel destinations and we shouldn't let them operate with such economic prices who bring people to destroy our coasts, apartments and everything they come across.
