"C.S.I. Las Vegas"

C.S.I. means Crime Scene Investigation. This is a crime drama that was broadcast for the first time in 6^th October of 2000 in United States over the CBS channel. In Spain, Telecinco broadcast it on Monday night at 10 pm.

The serial tells the story of a group of forensics scientists, those who try to solve murders in Las Vegas City. They go to crime scene, they pick up evidence and they look for lost pieces that solve the mystery.

Gil Grisson(William Petersen) is the officer superior who lead the research team of the office of Las Vegas. The other characters are Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), Nick Stokes (George Eads), Greg Sanders (Eric Ezmanda), Sara Sidle (Jorja-An Fox) and Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan), all are young and devoted criminologists. Moreover, they count with the help of Jim Brass, of Homicide, and Dr. Al Robbins, expert on forensic medicine.

The four firsts seasons is constituted of 23 episodes, the fifth have 25 and sixth and seventh seasons have 24. The eighth season only is constituted of 17 episodes because in Hollywood had a strike of scriptwriters. Now, is on air the ninth season that started broadcasting in October of 2008 with the episode called “For Warrick”.
