The manager of the Avant company has warned that the plans to place the train lines underground in the approach to the station are now under threat.
Miguel Garulo told the Información newspaper that the current economic circumstances mean that land which was going to be sold for about 600 million € for the works remain unsold and banks are unlikely to provide the credit.

Meanwhile the Mayor of San Isidro has said that he will block the AVE works in the Courts if the Ministry of Developm
ent disregards his appeals and makes no changes to the AVE construction.
