English deficiencies in Communication studies
Dear editor,
I am a Spanish student from Alicante and I’ve just finished my degree of Advertising and Public Relations. I would like to express that English is not a compulsory subject in the curriculum and in my opinion, this can cause us great disadvantage in our prospects of job in the future.
Nowadays, English is so necessary and useful for all you want to do. Although it's quite clear that we can learn languages attending private lessons and doing extra courses to complete our academic formation, I think that it would be better to learn this language at the University as an obligatory subject and dealing with content vocabulary related to our studies.
This problem also happens at schools. However, I reckon that it is more serious lack at a communication degree. I expect that in a near future this will change for our succesors partners.
Thanks for your atention, yours sincerely.
