“Jesucristo Superstar” visits Altea

In the last edition of OT (Operación Triunfo), a TV show where young people compete for getting the same dream: to became in a pop start - we could say is the Spanish version of American Idol – we have heard a lot about the musical “Jesucristo Superstar”, since one of the contestant, Ivan, came out from the musical’s cast before he started going to the popular TV show castings. During the show, the name of the musical was often being heard, therefore promoted, and he really – being his intention or not- did a very good advertising of it.

After its great hit in Madrid, the musical moves from the biggest theater of the city
-Lope de Vega - starting its first tour around the country. The Rock Oprah will be playing in Altea from November 13th to 16th thanks to two local production companies Mascarat Producciones y Art & Music. The musical tells in a dynamic a funny way the 7 last days of Jesus’ life. So if you couldn’t come to the OT concert offered in Benidorm, you have the opportunity of seeing the contestants of the Academy in Altea next month!
